CSS Menu Highlight Credits: Marc Boussard
"Highlight" your menu links as the mouse moves over them using this CSS powered script! Thanks to CSS, the effect is very customizable, efficient, does not rely on script, and finally, very small in file size. Visible in IE4+, NS6+, Opera 6/Mozilla, and degrades well with the rest.

Form field Limiter Credits: Dynamic Drive
The things we do for our visitors- fine tuning and back tracking on a script many times over so it comes out exactly the way we feel it should in order to be practical. Anyhow, our latest creation allows you to limit the amount of text a user can enter in particular INPUT or TEXTAREA elements, and display in real time the amount of character remaining as well. Very cool, very practical.

Mike's DHTML Scroller Credits: Updated by Dynamic Drive
After many hours of starring at the computer, we're happy to report Mike's popular DHTML scroller is now NS6 functional! For people not familiar with this script, it's a robust scroller that features smooth pausing between messages, configurable scroll speed, color, and font.

Daily iframe content Credits: Dynamic Drive
This script loads a different page into an iframe daily (out of 7 days of the week). Use it to serve up daily, changing content, such as a "tip of the day" when you don't have access to server side resources.

Random iframe content  Credits: Dynamic Drive
By default, an iframe only displays one set URL. This script changes that, by allowing you to specify a group of URLs for the iframe to randomly choose and display from.

Always-on-top message Credits: Dynamic Drive
We've always thought of the "Always on top message" script as being underrated. To boast its image, the script's just been transplanted with NS6/Opera 6 compatibility, plus a much requested "display once per browser session" option. Take that nay sayers!

Tic Tac Toe Credits: Updated by Yossi Cohen
Word on the street is that Tic Tac Toe's sick of lossing, so he's fighting back. Yossi Cohen brings 4 levels of difficulty to this classic game!

Fade-in slideshow Credits: Dynamic Drive
Fade-in image slideshows are no longer impressive, unless the effect works in both IE4+ and NS6, that is!

Animated window opener II Credits: Rizwan Chand
Instead of just spawning a window, this script animates it into view, by expanding it horizontally then vertically until it fills the screen. The animation is fast enough to not become tedious, and the corresponding links are easily set up.

Site Logo script Credits: Dynamic Drive
One of the very first scripts included on Dynamic Drive, the Site Logo script has been brought back into the spotlight. The underlining code is now greatly reduced and more efficient. By user request, the ability to specify user offset of the logo from the browser edges is also added, so you can fine tune where the logo appears on your page.

Page scroller (custom scrollbar) Credits: Dynamic Drive
Looking for a script that replaces the window's default scrollbars in scrolling the page? This script allows you to use custom images to scroll the page up/down as the mouse moves over them.

Tic Tac Toe Credits: Brian
Entertain your visitors to a quick game of Tic-Tac-Toe. Comes with artificial intelligence and the ability to keep score :)

Image spotlight effect Credits: Erik F
Cast an interactive "spotlight" on the image of your choice using this DHTML script. Move the light about using your mouse. This script is more for demonstrational purposes at this time, as it apparently requires a rather fast computer to render smoothly.

Top Nav Bar III Credits: Brothercake
Brothercake's Top Navigational Menu has just been completely overhauled. The menu files are now larger, with the upside, however, being deeper compatibility with all DHTML browsers (ie: Linux as well), faster rendering in IE, support for up to 3 levels of menus, transitional effects, and more.

XML Ticker Credits: Premshree Pillai
Premshree's innovative ticker script combines DHTML with XML to create a script that rotates its messages from a separate xml file. While the script only works in IE, it degrades well with the rest. An interesting creation!

Translucent scroller Credits: Dynamic Drive
This is a sleek, "translucent" scroller. In between message changes, the scroller turns semi transparent (in IE4/NS6+) as the next message slides up to cover the old. A handsome effect you may have seen in the past rendered using Flash, except this isnt!

Chromeless window Credits: Gabriel Suchowolski
A chromeless window is a special type of window stripped of the conventional interface, such as titlebar, browser buttons, status bar etc (aka chrome). This allows you to implement your own chrome, from how the title bar should look, the buttons to display (ie: close, max), to whether to render a border. In other words, a custom popup window!

DOM image rollover Credits: Chris Poole
One of the few JavaScript effects (remember "fading backgrounds"?) that has withstood the test of time is "image rollovers." Move your mouse over an image, and it changes to another. This script doesn't attempt to change that, just the way the effect is added to your page...

Required field(s) validation Credits: LK  Toh
One of the most popular form validation tasks is to check that important fields within a form have been filled out by the user. This is a generic script that will do just that, by verifying that mandatory fields are filled in before form submission.

Image w/ description tooltip Credits: Sharon Paine
Move the mouse over a link and have the image of your choice plus corresponding description pop up, by using this tooltip script. Great for viewing images on demand.

Document Wipes effect Credits: Sharon Paine
This is a DHTML intro effect that "wipes" desired messages onto the screen before redirecting to another page. Use it to provide an interesting introduction to anywhere within your site.

Highlight Table Cells Script Credits: Dynamic Drive
Give any table a "rollover" personality with this script! Using it, you can allow the cells of any given table to change color when the mouse rolls over them. This is a very powerful script that can add a little magic to any table, whatever the table is used for. Updated for NS6/Opera 6 compatibility.

Neon Lights text II Credits: Christian Schulz
Based on the original Neon Lights script, this script applies a "moving light" to any text by modifying its color. Two different colors can be used concurrently for the effect, giving the light depth.

Highlight Image Script | Gradual-Highlight Image Script Credits: Dynamic Drive
Both Highlight Image Script and Gradual-Highlight Image Script have been upgraded to work in NS6, plus some code leaning. We consider these critical updates, as the original versions register an error message in NS6 when run.

Scrollable iframe Credits: Dynamic Drive
This great script renders an IFRAME with scroll up/down functionality of the page within. It's an excellent way to display external content in a contained space.
